Refund policy

The short version

1. What this covers

This policy explains how money moves when you subscribe in PokerIQ, who to ask for a refund, and what happens to your access afterwards. It sits alongside our terms of service, and section 4 of those terms governs if the two ever disagree.

Without a subscription, PokerIQ gives you a fresh play-money stack and a free puzzle set each day. A subscription unlocks more, such as rebuys and unlimited puzzle sets. It never buys chips with any value.

2. Purchases go through Apple

Subscriptions are sold as in-app purchases. Apple processes the payment, charges your Apple ID, holds your payment details, and issues any refund. We never see your card number and we cannot reverse an App Store charge.

This is not a policy choice we could make differently. Apple's In-App Purchase rules require it, and refunds for App Store purchases are decided by Apple under Apple's own terms.

3. How to request a refund from Apple

Go to https://reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID that made the purchase.
Find the PokerIQ charge, choose “Request a refund”, and pick a reason.
Apple reviews the request and tells you the outcome, usually within a few days.

You can also get there on your iPhone: Settings, then your name, then Media & Purchases, then View Account, then Purchase History.

4. Free trials

Where a plan starts with a free trial, its length is shown on the purchase screen before you confirm. Nothing is charged during the trial, and if you cancel before it ends you are not billed at all.

A trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. If you buy a subscription while a trial is running, the trial ends immediately and the unused time is forfeited.

5. Cancelling

Cancel on your iPhone in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. Cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep your subscription until then.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Neither does deleting your PokerIQ account. A subscription lives with your Apple ID and has to be cancelled there.

6. What happens to your access

If you cancel, you keep your subscription until the end of the current billing period, then return to the free daily stack and puzzle set.
If Apple grants you a refund, subscription access ends straight away.
Your chips, Poker IQ, hands and progress are untouched either way.

7. Restoring a purchase you already made

If you have paid but the app does not show your subscription, for example on a new phone or after a reinstall, you do not need a refund. Open You, then Settings, and choose Restore purchases. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID and will come back.

If it does not, that is a bug and we want to hear about it. Write to us before asking Apple for a refund and we will sort it out.

8. Where we can help

We cannot issue an App Store refund. What we can do:

Confirm what you were charged for and when, so your request to Apple is accurate.
Fix a subscription that is not showing, which is usually the real problem behind a refund request.
Support your case with Apple, in writing, if something went wrong on our side.

9. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy takes away a right the law gives you. If you are in the EU, the UK, or anywhere else with a statutory right of withdrawal or a consumer guarantee stronger than what is described here, that right applies and this policy does not limit it.
